Innovative High-Tech Features on the Hummer EV

The GMC electric vehicles, the Hummer Pickup and SUV, come loaded with high-tech features. One of those is the available Ultravision that includes up to 18 camera views on the pickup and 17 on the SUV. These views include unexpected angles, like underbody cameras to show off-road terrain, along with traditional views from HD Surround Vision.

The GMC Hummer EV also comes with the latest version of Super Cruise that lets the GMC electric truck provide a hands-free driving experience with automatic lane changing on over 200,000 miles of compatible roads.

Another notable high-tech feature is the ability to crab walk. This available feature lets the GMC Hummer EV turn the wheels to drive diagonally for easy parallel parking and maneuver through unexpected tight spaces on pavement and dirt. The 2022 GMC Hummer EV Pickup and SUV come with a unique air suspension that allows drivers to lift the vehicle to avoid obstacles below the truck while off-roading.

Impressive Performance and Capabilities

The GMC Hummer Electric Truck and SUV come in a handful of trims with outstanding performance and capabilities. The Hummer Electric Truck and SUV are available in the EV Edition 1, EV2, EV2X, and EV3X. All models come with all-wheel drive.

The EV2 and EV2X come with two electric motors with up to 300 miles of range, 625 horsepower, and 7,400 lb-ft of torque. The EV3X and EV Edition 1 have three motors with up to 300 miles of electric range, 830 horsepower, and up to 11,500 lb-ft of torque. The 3X models go from zero to 60 MPH in about 3.5 seconds. Drivers can use the DC fast chargers to add up to 100 miles of range in about 10 minutes.

GMC has yet to release the 2022 GMC Hummer towing capability, but to compete with the newest EV trucks, like the Ford F-150 Lightning, it will need to tow at least 8,000 pounds. With the impressive amount of torque from the electric motors, the Hummer should have impressive towing capability when the numbers are finally released.
